Frequently asked questions.
Q: What should I wear?
James and Courtney respectfully but firmly ask that you wear semi-formal attire to the wedding. Due to the unpredictable weather in Florida, a suit or floor-length gown may be too hot, but we ask that you avoid jeans and polo shirts! PLEASE do not wear white or off-white colored dresses! Q: Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
We are currently planning for a late afternoon outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. The venue does have an indoor plan B should the weather not cooperate with us, but please plan for the Florida sun and potential humidity when choosing your outfit. Please keep in mind that Florida’s hurricane season ends November 30th, so the weather can be unpredictable day by day!
Q: Can I bring my children?
The wedding is child-friendly; however, children must be RSVP'd prior to the day of the wedding. Please reach out to the bride and groom if you have any further questions. At the venue, there is a room that will have coloring pages and toys for children who are overwhelmed and need to step away from the party if you and your little one need a break!
Q: Can I bring a date?
Please only bring who is stated on your invitation.
Q: I have a food allergy, will that be accommodated?
We want to ensure that every single person attending can eat dinner. PLEASE reach out to the couple when you RSVP so they can make arrangements with the catering team, who is more than happy to accommodate all allergies and food preferences within reason. Common allergens will be avoided and there will be vegan/vegetarian options available, but if you need anything further please let us know so you can eat!

Q: Should I bring a gift?
James and Courtney have been living together for years and ask that, if you feel so inclined, to purchase a gift from our registry. Additionally, we have a new house fund that will go towards our move and purchase of our first home. However, we understand the travel logistics and cost spent by our guests to join us, so a gift is not required or necessary if it exceeds your budget. Your presence means more to us than any gift ever could!
Q: What will be going on during the reception?
James and Courtney will have a coffee and espresso bar slingin’ caffeinated and decaffeinated drinks on the first floor from Piccolo Coffee next to the dessert bar, as well as games outside (weather permitting), dancing on the second floor, and lots of places to take some great pictures! Additionally, there are spaces throughout the first and second floors of the venue to sit and relax should you need to get away from the noise for a little bit.
Q: Should I bring cash for the bar?
The bar will be open, but we recommend bringing cash to tip your bartenders! We will only be offering wine, beer, gin, and whiskey as alcoholic options; for those who do not drink, the bars will be stocked with Drink Monday brand gin to make some delicious drinks without the alcohol!
